Why Flexa 4.0?
Zoned control makes it possible to divide a building's heating and air conditioning into independent zones in order to adapt it to the specific characteristics and uses of each space. In which systems can Flexa 4.0 be applied?
System elements
The Airzone thermostats located in each zone to be heated or cooled analyze the temperature and HVAC needs at all times. The information collected is sent to the Airzone main control board , which analyzes the status of the system and activates the other elements:
- Adjusts the operation of HVAC units according to the real demand.
- Opens or closes dampers to control air diffusion.
- Opens or closes water valves to regulate water heating or cooling, either by underfloor heating and cooling or by radiators (heating only).
- Activate safety controls for the correct operation of the system: anti-freezing function, anti-scale function and anti-condensation function.
- Activate the dehumidifier to maintain an optimal humidity level.

Think thermostat - Wireless
The Airzone Think thermostat features a graphic electronic ink screen and capacitive buttons to control the zone. This technology prioritizes low power consumption for long battery life while offering extensive control options.
Lite thermostat - Wired - Wireless
The Airzone Lite thermostat offers basic control, for situations in which simplicity of use is key.
Airzone Cloud app Smartphone - Tablet - Computer
The Airzone Cloud app allows full control of the entire system, from anywhere and at any time, with a user-friendly and customizable interface.

Flexa 4.0 incorporates the management of radiators in conjunction with the ducted HVAC system.
Thanks to the combined control and use of our algorithms, heated and cooled spaces reach the comfort temperature more quickly, reducing energy consumption.

AirQ Sensor improves air quality measurement. This device incorporates monitoring and management to improve air quality in indoor spaces. It is installed in the environment and incorporates CO2 measurement to the quality parameters. It also enables communication with the ventilation units to activate it when necessary.
AirQ Box is the air purification solution for rigid ducted installations. This device uses ionization technology to neutralize harmful particles from the environment when the AirQ Sensor detects that the quality has fallen below the established levels.

Flexa 4.0 uses communication protocols developed and validated in collaboration with manufacturers of HVAC and heating systems and is currently compatible with more than 100 brands and 20,000 unit models.
A fully integrated solution
HVAC systems are a particularly difficult subsystem to integrate into home automation systems. That's why Flexa 4.0 is designed as an integration tool that offers full HVAC management from the Airzone Cloud mobile app, a Smart Home system or a building management system (BMS).

Certifications
Airzone is tested and certified by the European Building Automation and Controls Association (eu.bac), an industrial platform that supports home control, building automation and energy services for buildings. This certifies Flexa 4.0 as a powerful solution for precise control of HVAC systems, with a control accuracy of 0.3 for VAV and 0.4 for underfloor heating and cooling.
Easyzone 25
Easyzone 25 is the alternative to Flexa 4.0. It is a solution that uses the same technology, but in the form of an all-in-one kit, which is wired during the manufacturing process, enabling a quick and error-free installation.
